The luminous spaciousness, and the functional simplicity inherent in the architecture of the LetterHouse reflect Gravoform's philosophy and its views on work, value, and quality.
The turn-of-the-century textile mill has been revived, and provides a unique spacial experience to its visitors: the interior design of the two floors are identical, therefore the workspace of the workmen is defined by the same materials and built-in cabinetry as that of the offices above. This concept is utterly new in the practice of factory and office design, as it breaks away from the idea of the inferiority of the workshop.
In addition to a showroom, the LetterHouse is the home of one of Europe's largest and most complex engraving workshops. The LetterHouse also carries architectural value, and in 2000 it was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Architecture Awards.
